What We Value

Being purpose led and consistent with the values of our business and those of our client base, ESG and Ethical Investing are front and centre in our investment settings and have been since our inception.

01

Clients achieving their charitable purpose

We exist to ensure our clients achieve their charitable ambitions. When we do our jobs well our clients advance their charitable impact and the world becomes a better place.

02

Beyond functional, the benefit of breadth

Our advice and services go beyond simply offering quality products. Our broad range of advisory services and professional staff exist to serve our client’s purpose in all aspects of their operations, consistent with our fiduciary duty.

03

Maximising social impact through long term relationships

We’re driven by making a social impact – not fees. Our ownership structure provides a clear mandate to assist charities. Accordingly, our fees are fair and reasonable, calibrated for long term relationships.

04

Never too big for a quick, personal response

We’re a modestly sized organisation – just 30 employees – large enough to employ top calibre staff and support them with enterprise-grade technology and  systems. But not too large to lose sight of client objectives and long lasting relationships.

Our Story

We were founded on a vision of attracting top talent from the commercial world to work for a purpose led financial services company that serves the charitable, not-for-profit, and community trust sectors.

We offer a range of professional services that include investment management and advisory, property asset management, governance, and accountancy advice to over 180 entities across Aotearoa New Zealand. All profits generated by the company are distributed to charity and community outreach.

Operating for 20-plus years and now managing over $2.3b of assets on behalf of clients and investors, which include community foundations, iwi, medical research trusts, hospices, education trusts, university foundations, and other charities associated with religious denominations, including Anglican, Catholic and Presbyterian Churches.

Assets under management include a range of PIE investment funds. Being purpose led and consistent with the values of our business and those of our client base, ESG and Ethical Investing are front and centre in our investment settings and have been since our inception.
