Deloitte: Trust Management’s systems continue to be robust and effective
When you entrust your investments with Trust Management, you are in the best hands, which has been proved for the second time running by a new independent audit of our internal systems and processes by Deloitte.
Last year we released Deloitte’s first report on our internal systems which highlighted the robust and effective nature of our practices and processes using the quality assurance standard (NZ IAS 3402 Type 2 report).
In late December 2013 we received the second report from Deloitte, which has shown that Trust Management’s client transactions and the design and operation of our controls from 1 November 2012 to 30 September 2013 continued to function at an internationally high standard - enabling us to provide impeccable investment services to you as our client.
Operating to international best practice
The NZ ISAE 3402 Type 2 report is the service industry equivalent to the ISO-9000 quality assurance standard which is used worldwide to benchmark production companies. We are proud to be able to offer our clients services that are underpinned by internationally verified processes and professional people.
The independent review encompassed all the services we provide (financial, property, investment and governance) and covered a series of business control objectives that we know are important to our clients, some examples of which are:
Adherence to Clients’ policies, agreed investment mandates, and delegated authorities
Dealing with Clients distinctly, equitably and managing the inherent conflicts of interest
Separation of roles and functions performed by staff, through “one up” and/or peer reviews
Accuracy of financial records, including unit pricing, through review and reconciliation processes
